Logo Critique
The original Starbucks logo was designed to represent the Greek Goddess “Siren”, who was known for luring sailors to destruction by song. My interpretation of the message behind Starbucks using this logo is that the company is essentially luring people in with abundance of an addictive drug, caffeine. I designed the critiqued logo to depict the goddess high on caffeine and altered the information on the box to expose the high levels of caffeine used within the product. Customers want to know exactly what kind of message the company is promoting, and that would be caffeine addiction across the world.
